Form

Mountain

  • Turn the right foot clockwise 90 and  take the weight on the right leg,  move out with the left heel at 45deg East at the same time moving the left arm forward and finishing in an inward knife hand strike. The right hand moves backward at the same time and finishes in a fist above the hip at the side of the abdomen.

Water

  • Turn the left foot forward (North) and start to take the weight on it as you start to move forward with the right. The left hand starts to pull back as the right arm and leg move forward, the right hand ends up in a thumb strike (fist with thumb on top)

Wind

  • Start to take the weight on the right front leg as the left moves out 45deg West and both palms move to face forward left mid section and the right face level.

Heaven

  • Take the weight on the right leg as you turn the left foot through 135deg (pointing East), transfer the weight back over to the left leg as the right circles round in an arc and faces South. Take the weight on the right leg as the left foot turns to face South finish with equal weight on both legs.

Lake

  • Take the weight on the right leg as the left leg moves at 45deg West (heel down toes up) at he same time the hands turn into fists and cross in front of the face (the left hand is turned towards the face) so the backs of the hands face each other. As the left foot starts to go down the left hand rotates and moves out to the left and ends up in outer block with the back of the hand towards the face, at the same time the right hand moves down and rest on the right hip

Fire

  • Turn the left foot pointing South along with the left arm, take the weight on the left foot as you start to move forward at the same time bringing up the right arm in front of the left. The right hand moves back into a lower block as the right foot is placed down at the same time the left foot turns to the left (East)

Thunder

  • The right foot turns 45deg towards East and the left moves round to be parallel with the right (one shoulder width apart) as the left hand strikes and the right moves bask to the waist.

Earth

  • Both hands move up facing forward the left foot start to rotate towards the North as the right foot circles rounds both feet end up pointing North with the facing North about chest height. Lower the legs as you exhale and turn the palms towards the floor.
